We know that animals are the key to solving some of the world's most pressing issues. And these issues can, in part, be answered by healthier animals.

Healthier animals use their resources more efficiently, and in turn, have less impact on the environment. They also deliver more nutritious proteins, enabling us to become healthier people, while conserving our natural resources for a healthier environment. And healthy pets contribute to an active lifestyle and improved mental health.

Responsibility - Transparency Statement
The UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 requires large companies that conduct business in the UK to publicly report the activities they undertake to prevent human trafficking and slavery. Elanco maintains a practice of complying with local minimum age laws and requirements and has a well-established Supplier Code of Business Conduct.

We welcome the Government’s efforts to improve transparency in gender equality and pay in the workplace. The gender pay gap shows the difference between the average (mean) and median earnings of men and women across all roles and is expressed as a percentage of men’s earnings. From April 2018, all UK companies with 250 or more employees have been required to report their gender pay gap annually. It is important to remember that “gender pay” is not the same as “equal pay”, which is the right of men and women to be paid at a similar rate for work of equivalent value and has been law in the UK since 1970.

At Elanco UK AH, our mean gender pay gap (as of 5 April 2022) is 1.4% with a median pay gap of 0.3%.

On average this means that across Elanco in the UK, women are paid 1.4% less than men, and at the median 0.3% less than men. Women represent 38% of Elanco’s UK employees.

The Office for National Statistics quotes the average mean UK pay gap as 15.4% when all workers are included, or 7.9% among full-time workers. (Source: Office for National Statistics status April 2021)
